Who we are
Struo Labs is a small design and development studio based in Australia, founded by Michael Ignat and Nathan Logan. We build websites and web applications for founders and teams who care about the details, fast, well-crafted, and built to last.
There are two of us. We've both spent years in the industry: working inside product teams, shipping client work, and building our own projects. We started Struo because we kept seeing the same problem: clients either got expensive agencies that moved slowly, or cheap work that looked it.
We think there's a better way.
How we work
Most of our projects run 2–4 weeks from kickoff to live. We keep the scope tight, move fast, and stay in close contact throughout.
You'll work directly with us, not an account manager or a junior developer. That means decisions get made quickly, and the people you talk to are the people doing the work.
We handle design and development as a single process. There's no handoff between a designer and a developer, no loss of intent, no "this can't be built" surprises after you've approved the mockups. We design in the browser, which means what you see is what you get.
What we believe
Good web work isn't about following trends. It's about solving real problems with clarity and craft.
A well-built website should be fast, accessible, and purposeful. Every decision, from the typographic scale to the way a button behaves on hover, should serve the person using it. We're not interested in award-winning design for its own sake. We're interested in work that performs.
The best websites are the ones where the design disappears and the product speaks for itself.
We're also opinionated about the tech we use. We build with modern frameworks, write clean code, and don't introduce complexity you don't need. Simplicity is a feature.
What's next
We're working with a handful of clients right now and have capacity for one or two more projects in the coming months.
