Web Design Concept2026

Annerley Dental

A redesign concept for a local Brisbane dental practice. The existing site had the right information, buried inside a template every other clinic is also using. We rebuilt it around trust signals, clearer hierarchy, and a much friendlier feel.

The Problem

A good practice hidden behind a generic site.

Annerley Dental has been serving the same neighbourhood for over 20 years. Strong patient relationships, experienced dentists, honest pricing. The website gave no indication any of that was true.

The site ran on a template. Icon grids, stock photography, the booking link somewhere near the footer. It looked the same as the next dental clinic in the search results.

Design Decisions

Four things we changed and why.

Warm editorial layout over template grid

The original used a four-column icon grid, the same layout hundreds of dental sites use. We replaced it with an off-white split hero and editorial typography. It reads as a specific practice, not a category.

Trust signals moved above the fold

The health fund logos were visible in multiple locations of the site. We put a preferred provider bar directly below the hero, going hand in hand with the other trust signals visitors look for.

Why us before what we do

Patients pick a dentist before they pick a treatment. We added a values section above the services list, so the case for choosing this practice comes before the list of what it offers.

One clear booking action

The existing site had multiple calls to action competing for attention. The redesign routes everything toward one: book an appointment.
