Sports Connect
We built this from scratch: a platform where community sports clubs can get found and list events, with Stripe billing so Sports Connect gets paid for each listing.
Community sports clubs had no good way to get found, or get paid.
Sports Connect came to us with a straightforward problem. Local clubs and coaching groups were struggling to reach new members and collect payments. Most were stuck on Facebook pages, spreadsheets, and bank transfers.
The brief was to build the whole thing from zero. A public site where anyone could search for a local club or event, a private portal where those organisations could manage their listing and post events, and a billing system so Sports Connect could charge for active listings.
There was no existing codebase, no design system, and no off-the-shelf platform to bolt onto. We started from a blank file.

Marketing site + club discovery
Where new organisations and players find out about Sports Connect. The main feature is a map-based search where anyone can find local clubs and upcoming events by location or sport.
Organisation portal
Once registered, each organisation gets a dashboard to manage their profile and listings. They can create events, upload images, and see who's been looking at their page.
Stripe billing
The first two active listings are free. After that, organisations pay a daily rate based on how long they want to run.
Admin panel
New event submissions go through a review queue before they go live. The admin interface is built into the app, so the Sports Connect team can approve or reject submissions without any external tooling.
